    De CAB831HD 8-poorts USB+PS/2 KVM switch module is ontwerpen als een add-on voor de StarTech.com 1UCABCONS-serie van 1U LCD-rekconsoles (1UCABCONS, 1UCABCONS17, 1UCABCONS19), waardoor de console 8 USB en PS/2 geregelde computers/servers kan bedienen. De USB+PS/2 KVM switch module is 1U hoog, waardoor u deze netje achter een in een rek gemonteerde console kunt plaatsen, voor de extra functionaliteit die u nodig hebt. Als schaalbare en veelzijdige KVM-oplossing kan de USB+PS/2 module in serie worden gekoppeld met diverse aanvullende KVM switches, zodat in totaal maar liefst 64 computers met slechts n console kunnen worden bediend.
